Two deliveries, one standard: accessories, ammunition, magazines, apparel, and OEM parts ship directly to your home. Firearms ship to a licensed FFL dealer near you, where the transfer is completed in person. Every order is tracked, insured, and packed by hand in Cheyenne.
Two Paths. One Standard.
Firearms are legally required to ship to a licensed dealer. Everything else goes straight to you. Both get the same care, tracking, and hands-on review before leaving our facility.
-
Firearms — FFL Delivery
Shipped to a Licensed Dealer
During checkout, you select an FFL dealer near you. We ship your firearm directly to that dealer's licensed premises — not to your home address. This is required by federal law under 18 U.S.C. § 922 and applies to every firearm sale in the United States.
Your chosen dealer logs the firearm into their A&D book, contacts you when it arrives, and completes the transfer with you in person. Learn the full process on our FFL transfer guide.
-
Accessories — Home Delivery
Delivered to Your Doorstep
Magazines, optics, holsters, ammunition, cleaning supplies, apparel, and OEM parts ship directly to your residential or business address — no FFL required. Every parcel is tracked and delivered by UPS, FedEx, or DHL depending on your location and the size of the order.
Ammunition ships via ground service only, as required by carrier policy. Browse our Glock accessories and Glock apparel to see what ships to your door.
Shipped by the Carriers You Trust
We don't cut corners on shipping. Every order moves through one of three premium carriers — chosen for speed, reliability, and real-time tracking. The carrier and service level depend on what you ordered and where you live.
-
United Parcel Service
Our primary carrier for firearm shipments. UPS Ground delivers in 1–5 business days within the continental U.S. Firearms ship with adult signature required.
-
FedEx
Fast, reliable delivery across all 50 states. FedEx Ground delivers in 1–5 business days, with expanded service for Alaska and Hawaii.
-
DHL
Used for select accessory and lighter-weight shipments. DHL eCommerce delivery typically runs 2–8 business days depending on destination.
Why Firearms Ship to an FFL — Not Your Home
If you've bought from us before, you know the process. If this is your first online firearm purchase, here's the legal context.
Federal Requirement
Under 18 U.S.C. § 922(a)(3) and (b)(3), it is unlawful for any person other than a licensed dealer to ship a firearm across state lines to anyone other than a licensed dealer. That means the shipment must terminate at an FFL — not at a residence.
Handguns vs. Long Guns
Handguns must be transferred by an FFL in the buyer's state of residence, in person. Long guns may be transferred out of state, but still only at an FFL's licensed premises. Either way, no firearm ships to a home address.
What You'll Do at Pickup
At the dealer, you'll complete ATF Form 4473 and pass a NICS background check. Most customers complete the process in 15–30 minutes. Read our full FFL transfer guide for details.
What CAN Ship to Your Home

We Ship to All 50 States — With Full Compliance
Some states have additional requirements that affect what can ship where. We follow every applicable law. If your order conflicts with a state rule, we'll contact you before shipping.
Handgun Roster States
California and Massachusetts maintain approved handgun rosters. Only handguns listed on these rosters may be transferred to civilian buyers in those states. If you're in CA or MA, verify model eligibility on our compliance page before ordering.
Magazine Capacity Limits
Several states — including CA, NY, NJ, MA, MD, CO, HI, IL, VT, WA, and DC — restrict magazine capacity, commonly to 10 rounds. We automatically restrict non-compliant magazines from shipping to those addresses. See the full list on our compliance page.
Ammunition Restrictions
Ammunition cannot be shipped to Alaska, Hawaii, or certain cities and counties in Illinois and Massachusetts. Ammunition ships via UPS or FedEx Ground only — never by air — and always requires an adult signature at delivery.
Permit / Waiting Periods
Some states require a permit to purchase, a waiting period, or additional documentation at pickup. Your receiving FFL will guide you through any state-specific requirements. We recommend confirming with your dealer before purchase. See FFL transfer guide for details.
Prepared by Hand, Every Single Order
We're not a dropshipper. Every firearm, every magazine, every accessory is inspected, logged, and packed by a member of our team in Cheyenne before it ships.
- Discreet packaging. No external markings identify the contents of your shipment. Carrier labels comply with federal regulations.
- Real tracking. Every order ships with a carrier tracking number sent by email and viewable in your account.
- Federal compliance. Firearms ship only to licensed FFL dealers, per 18 U.S.C. § 922.
- Hands-on review. Each order is verified by a member of our team before it leaves the facility.
- Insured shipments. High-value orders are insured against loss or damage in transit.
- Adult signature. Firearm shipments require an adult signature at the FFL — no exceptions.
Every Question We Get About Shipping
These are the questions our team answers most often. If yours isn't here, contact us — we'll respond within one business day.
Do you ship firearms to my home?
No. Federal law requires all firearms to ship to a licensed FFL dealer, where the transfer takes place in person after a background check. You'll select your FFL during checkout. Accessories, ammunition, magazines, and apparel can ship directly to your home address.
How long does it take to receive my firearm?
Processing takes 1–2 business days. Transit then follows the regional estimate above — typically 2–5 business days for the continental U.S., 5–7 for Alaska and Hawaii. Once your FFL receives the firearm, they'll contact you to schedule pickup, usually within 24 hours.
Which carrier ships my firearm?
Firearms ship via UPS or FedEx — never USPS. Both carriers allow handguns and long guns to be shipped between licensed dealers only. The specific carrier depends on your destination and the size of the shipment.
How do I choose my FFL dealer?
At checkout, you'll enter your ZIP code and select from a list of FFL dealers near you. If you already have a preferred dealer, you can enter their information manually. Learn more on our FFL transfer guide.
What do I need to bring to my FFL pickup?
Bring a valid government-issued photo ID. You'll complete ATF Form 4473 and pass a NICS background check at the dealer. Some states require additional documentation, permits, or waiting periods — your dealer will let you know what applies.
Can I change my FFL after ordering?
Yes, if your order hasn't shipped yet. Contact us immediately at sales@gunbaze.com with your order number and the new dealer's information. Once a firearm ships, the destination FFL cannot be changed.
Do you ship ammunition?
Yes, where legal. Ammunition ships via UPS or FedEx Ground only — never by air — and requires an adult signature at delivery. We cannot ship ammunition to Alaska, Hawaii, or certain cities in Illinois and Massachusetts.
Do you ship to California, New York, or Massachusetts?
Yes, but with restrictions. California and Massachusetts maintain approved handgun rosters. New York has specific magazine and permitting requirements. We automatically filter non-compliant products from shipping to these states. See our compliance page for full details.
Do you ship to Alaska and Hawaii?
Yes. We ship firearms to licensed FFL dealers in both states, and accessories to residential addresses. Transit typically runs 5–7 business days. Ammunition cannot be shipped to either state due to carrier restrictions.
How do I track my order?
Once your order ships, we email you a carrier tracking number. You can also view it anytime in your Gunbaze account under "Orders." Tracking updates automatically as the package moves through the carrier's network.
What happens if my package is lost or damaged?
All high-value orders are insured. If a shipment is lost or arrives damaged, contact us immediately. We'll file a claim with the carrier on your behalf and arrange a replacement or refund per our returns policy.
Can I pick up my order in person?
Yes. If you're in the Cheyenne area, you can select our facility as your FFL at checkout and pick up your firearm in person. Accessories always ship to your address — but you're welcome to arrange local pickup by contacting us first.
Do you ship internationally?
No. Gunbaze ships within the United States only. Federal law and export controls make international firearm shipments extremely complex, and we do not offer that service.
What if nobody is home for my accessory delivery?
Standard accessory deliveries don't require a signature. If you're not home, the carrier will leave the package per their standard policy or attempt redelivery. Ammunition requires an adult signature — someone 21 or older must be present.
Can you ship to a PO Box?
Accessories can sometimes ship to a PO Box via USPS, but UPS and FedEx do not deliver to PO boxes. Firearms cannot ship to a PO box under any circumstance — they must go to a licensed FFL's street address.
How is my firearm packaged?
Firearms ship in plain, unmarked boxes with no external indication of contents, in full compliance with carrier and ATF regulations. Inside, the firearm is secured and padded to prevent movement. The package ships with adult signature required and full tracking.
